What are research peptides?

Research peptides are short chains of amino acids sold and used in in-vitro and preclinical laboratory research only, and labelled For Research Use Only (RUO). What purity standards do your products meet?

Each AppealLabs batch is tested by third-party HPLC and mass spectrometry, and a batch-specific Certificate of Analysis is published on our COA page before purchase. Batch-specific HPLC purity figures are reported on each COA rather than as a universal number; see How to Read a Peptide COA for how to interpret the report.

How long does shipping take?

Domestic orders typically ship within 1–2 business days. Standard shipping takes 3–5 business days. Express options are available at checkout.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship within the United States only. International shipping is not available at this time.

Storage & Handling

How should I store my peptides?

Storage and shelf life depend on the specific peptide, formulation, batch documentation, container, and conditions. As a general research-lab starting point, sealed lyophilized vials are usually held cold (typically -20 °C or -80 °C) and reconstituted vials are refrigerated for short-term use, with aliquots frozen for longer horizons where the formulation allows. Always follow the manufacturer’s stability data on the batch COA. What is bacteriostatic water used for?

Bacteriostatic water (BAC water) is sterile water preserved with 0.9% benzyl alcohol; it is a common diluent used to reconstitute lyophilized research peptides. See How to Reconstitute Research Peptides for the step-by-step protocol.
